Awareness Progress

As an Authorized PRO, we take an initiative to create general public awareness regarding the health and environmental hazards of disposing off E-waste in an improper manner. Regular workshops, seminars, standalone booths and road shows are organised to spread awareness and individual responsibility.

General public is addressed and guided towards proper disposal, Non-dumping of electronic waste with regular municipal waste and safe handling of any inflammable waste.

Following are some generic measures to be taken care of

Dos and dont's for consumers

(A). Do’s:

  • Always look for information on the catalogue for the product’s end-of life.
  • Ensure that only Authorized Recyclers repair and handle your electronic products.
  • Always drop used electronics at our Authorized Collection center/point.
  • Always disconnect the battery from product and ensure any glass surface is protected against breakage.

(B). Dont’s:

  • Do not dismantle your electronic products on your own.
  • Do not throw electronics in bins having ‘Do not Dispose’ sign.
  • Do not give e-waste to informal (Kabbadi) and unorganized sectors like Local Scrap Dealer, Rag Pickers.
  • Do not dispose your product in garbage bins along with municipal waste that ultimately reaches landfill.
